    FAQ : eSIM Questions

    What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a SIM card directly integrated into your device by the manufacturer. It does not need to be inserted into your smartphone and can be programmed remotely. The operation of the eSIM is identical to a physical SIM card. Only the installation of the eSIM profile and the activation is slightly different.

    What is an eSIM profile?

Simply said, an eSIM profile is a collection of data that ensures your device functionality (in other cases this information is carried by a SIM card). An eSIM profile is digitally saved on your eSIM card.

How many profiles can I have on an eSIM?

You can upload several eSIM profiles on your eSIM – for example one for calls and a second one for data. The specific number of eSIMs you can upload depends on your smartphone. Nevertheless, only one of the uploaded eSIM profiles can be active at any given time.

How do I activate my eSIM?

Once you have purchased your eSIM, you need to scan your QR code on your compatible phone. The activation of the eSIM takes place immediately after the activation request.
